Mt. Clemens Montessori Academy and its philosophy are inspired by the educational thought of Dr. Maria Montessori; the models for the classrooms and the developmental learning materials were created by her. The Academy continues her work in developmental psychology and education.

The mission of Mt. Clemens Montessori Academy is to develop students with a positive self-image who can apply critical thinking skills, communication skills, creativity, cooperation and respect for others to changing situations. "It is necessary for the teacher to guide the child without letting him feel her presence too much, so that she may never be the obstacle between the child and his experience." - Dr. Maria Montessori

MTCMA FUN RUN
What a success! A great time was had by all!
Fun Run Celebration Assembly
We have surpassed our $10,000 goal. The Parent Guild Fun RUN has raised over $13,000. Thank you to all that contributed time, money, and energy to this event and fundraiser.
The "Celebration Assembly" took place on Thursday, December 1st. This was also a school-wide "SUPER HERO" dress day. It was a great day; faces were painted, Mr. Casey was duct taped to the wall, and many pictures were taken.
Congratulations to all our Super Heroes for graduating from our Super Hero Academy and successfully completing the Fun Fun activities.
